Great NCLB Insight, but Can You Address "Scientifically Based Research"? (MO: August 2, 2002)

Just a quick email telling you what a good read The Doyle Report is. You have a great knack for cutting through all the hype to get to the core of certain issues. Your recent article on NCLB and what it really means from a big picture perspective was great. I wonder what you would say about this "scientifically based research" controversy which is plaguing publishers. From a very respectful publisher of standards-based instructional software for schools.
